On-the-day Celebrant
This is the whole process, from start to finish.
You don’t just get the ceremony.
You get the space held as we shape your wedding or elopement, the guidance on how to decide what matters, and the presence that makes it all come to life on the day.
We’ll work through the full Gather & Tell approach together.
Then I’ll be there to help you stay present, calm and grounded.
In the run-up to your wedding, as your celebrant I’ll work with you to:
design a story-led ceremony that’s free of expectations and “shoulds”
feel confident in choices you’re making about your ceremony
Explore traditions, rituals and symbols, including making new ones that are unique to you
Create vows that reflect your relationship, personalities, and voice
Find authentic ways to involve your family, friends, and wider community in the celebration
Couples choosing to work with me as their celebrant want to be fully supported from our first conversation to their wedding day.
I’ll be in your corner (traditions for traditions sake hate to see me coming!) and together we’ll shape a ceremony that’s full of intention and joy.
Let’s gather your people and tell your story!

Here's what you can expect if you book me as your on-the-day celebrant
-
As a trained coach, I’ll use a mix of techniques to hold whatever you’re bringing to the discussion and make sure this is more than a friendly chat about your wedding. After our discovery call, I’ll design a bespoke questionnaire to get to know you better, and get the most out of our session.
-
You’ll leave the session with ideas you can put into practice right away to make your ceremony more intentional and authentic, and some tools to help you navigate decisions as your planning continues.
-
Whether you’re handfasting-curious, don’t know where to start, or want to create something completely unique to you, I’ll support you to find an option that’s right for you. We’ll also work through how to incorporate any cultural or community traditions that are meaningful to you as a couple.
-
Whether you’ve got ‘Blank Page Syndrome’ or have the words but worry about sounding cringe (no judgement, we’ve all been there), you’ll leave the session with more confidence that your wedding vows will reflect what’s in your heart.
-
You can show up exactly as you are. Clarity Sessions are your time to work through the things that have made it challenging to set a direction for your wedding ceremony. But they’re also the place to get excited for your most authentic selves to shine through.
-
My approach is thoughtful and personal. We’ll get to know each other, and I’ll use what I’ve learnt to make sure every aspect of your ceremony is true to you.
You might be wondering…
-
Most people aren’t! And you don’t have to pretend to be, just because it’s your wedding. Your ceremony can be as relaxed or formal as you like. The main thing is that it should feel natural and you should feel grounded and like yourselves on the day.
-
I can’t tell you what’s right for you (there are no “shoulds here, remember?). I can say that, as your celebrant, I’d be delighted to help you bring your version of simple to life in a way that’s calm and straightforward but still full of meaning.
-
I love when couples have lots of ideas! Whether it’s because you’ve got the world’s best Pinterest board, or because everyone’s opinions and expectations have come flooding in, we can work together to cut through to what’s most important to you.
-
Many couples start feeling this way. We’re not aiming for a particular tradition or symbolic element for your wedding ceremony. The goal is for you to gain certainty about what is or isn’t for you. If that’s a time-honoured tradition, great. If it’s a bespoke ritual, that’s also great. And if you decide none of it feels authentic, we’ll follow that instinct.
-
First of all, you won’t have to handle it alone. I’ll be there to help navigate challenging conversations and support you with tools to design a ceremony that is true to you and makes sense to the people you’ll be gathering. We’ll create something thoughtful enough that even if it’s not what someone expected, they can still understand it because they see you in it.
-
If you think you might like me to be your wedding celebrant, get in touch. We’ll start with a no pressure chat to see if we’re a good fit, and then book in a time for our first planning discussion if that’s the right next step for you.
Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ page, or get in touch for a chat.
